Our Curriculum.

Our curriculum focuses on learning through play and activities that are based on the age and ability of each child. Our play-based curriculum allows children the freedom to have fun while discovering and exploring the world and their interests. Through hands-on learning, it helps to enhance vocabulary, process-oriented, and supports the whole child cognitively, emotionally, physically, socially, and builds self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. The curriculum we chose offers theme based activities with a focus on letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and more. Key ways children learn include communication with others, being active, exploring, practicing and repeating skills, and most importantly, having fun. Our program curriculum is designed to create an exciting and diverse learning experience that will last throughout their lives.

At Playskool Learning Center we offer a variety of programs to cater to different interests and abilities of each child, such as:

Nature of Things – scheduled once a month for toddler and preschool programs to introduce them to animals and their habitats using hands-on learning

Outdoor Play – daily program (when weather permits) to enhance gross motor skills through various apparatuses; uses games and fun activities to teach children to be healthy

Computers- bi-weekly program to teach the children to be technologically savvy and understanding the basic functions of a computer.
